Encryption at every stage

With Vodafone's PSN Connect Encrypt you get private encryption domains and access to the wider PSN at the ‘Protected Level’ (the PSN shared Encryption Domain) – any-to-any site communication at the Protected Level through our centrally hosted services. The service also provides router encryption.

How it works

Vodafone PSN Connect Encrypt is a Direct Network Service Provider (DNSP) service. An IP-VPN is established with Vodafone’s network with an overlay encryption.

To manage quality of service and ensure end-to-end guarantees for data transfer, it uses Cisco’s Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network technology, together with DCSP marking and per packet scheduling.

It also gives you the option to communicate with other organisations connected to PSN at the Protected level. This is achieved through the Inter Provider Encryption Domain (IPED) that provides a common method of encrypted connectivity across the PSN.

As part of the service, we provide, manage and maintain the routers on your premises. Sites can be connected by a variety of methods. We’ll work with you to find whichever is best.
