Barrow Borough Council partnered with Vodafone to better support flexible working and improve collaboration in their organisation.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Barrow BC were forced to implement an agile way of working. They acknowledged that in order to de-risk this migration and protect against security threats, they needed support from a partner experienced in deploying Microsoft’s suite of solutions. This is why the council turned to Vodafone and Centrality.

Through our strategic partnership with Centrality, we co-created a professional services arrangement, specific to the councils needs. The council wished to ensure that they had the foundations correct, prior to embarking on a larger scale adoption of Microsoft 365.
In order to lay the foundations for success, we conducted a cloud-readiness assessment that ensured the councils adoption of our Microsoft services was considered and fit for purpose. We then assisted the council in their transition to Exchange Online, SharePoint and adoption of a modern workplace including Microsoft Teams.
As a result of our strategic engagement, Barrow BC now have a platform to operate securely, collaboratively and efficiently in an agile manner. The council now have a solution that they can grow with, which will undoubtedly set them up for future success.
