Prepare to migrate your applications to the cloud

Over a number of weeks, an expert team, which includes solution architects, migration specialists and security consultants, will work with you to review the applications, data and infrastructure that your organisation is considering relocating to the cloud. It will begin by using data collection methods – through online forms or automated tools – to discover the systems already in use.

Once all the affected systems have been audited, the team will analyse each to determine the baseline functionality required and find cloud-based services that can answer those needs. It will then detail how the new applications will operate and provide recommendations of how they should be built, tested, migrated and deployed, including phased implementation where appropriate.

Finally, the team will deliver a ‘cloud-application analysis report’. This provides an overview of the most suitable cloud application and architecture solutions available, analysis of the data collection process and its findings, options for migration or modernising the assessed systems, a breakdown of the migration plan, plus key challenges and recommendations that will help you determine how to proceed.
